No. A doctor’s referral is generally not required to make an appointment at Beijing United Family Hospital. However, if you have previous medical records, imaging studies, pathology reports, laboratory results, or treatment records, we recommend providing them in advance so our specialists can better understand your condition and recommend the appropriate next steps.

Further, all of this information is available through WeChat in our specialized Patient Portal. Identity verification and signed authorization may be required. Please contact your care team for information about the request process.
